Lola is a registered Architect with over 20 years’ experience in the construction & real estate industry. As the BOT Chair of WAVE Foundation, she has initiated & implemented projects on livelihood, education and health in a more inclusive approach ensuring no one is left behind.
Lola is a 2021 Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize nominee and an award winner in Nigeria for initiating a campaign #StopTheCut to End Female Genital Mutilation & VAWG.
She is a Cochran Fellow, an Alumna of Swedish Institute; Sweden, Iowa State University; USA, Unesco-Ihe Institute of Water Education; Delft-Netherlands and US Exchange Program. Lola holds a B-Tech & M-Tech in Architecture from Federal University of Technology Minna., She is currently enrolled in a diploma course “African Civic Engagement Academy” University of Georgia, USA and Lagos Business School; Leadership Program.
Born in Gusau, Zamfara State, She can speak, read and write English, Hausa, Yoruba and Nupe fluently. She has featured on television, radio and different fora within and outside Nigeria severally.
Lola is an enthusiastic team player. Her leadership style is innovative, courageous, dynamic, rooted in universal values and global in implication. Her goal is to stimulate respect for all human beings, their dignity, financial inclusion, housing needs, global peace and unity.
She is a member of Nigerian Institute of Architects, Architects Registration Council of Nigeria., Female Architects of Nigeria, Waste Management Society of Nigeria, Recyclers Association of Nigeria, Neca’s Network of Entrepreneurial Women, NGO-Committee on the Status. of Women, New York, National Council for Women Societies [FCT Chapter, African Women Leaders Network, Nigerian Feminist Forum, Africa for Africa Women Forum.
